Olivier Julien is a French documentary director credited with more than 10 feature-length documentaries as principal director and dozens as a writer. His films include the critically-acclaimed series The Nano Revolution and Eternal Monuments as well as the more recent Tchernobyl-Fukushima : Living with the Legacy. Alongside Homo Sapiens, New Beginnings, his film Auguste Escoffier – The Birth of Modern Gastronomy was also released in 2020.

"Homo Sapiens - New Origins" is selected for screening in Foça Film Days 2021.
