Hsing-Ying Tseng is an independent film director from Taipei, Taiwan. She has a Master’s Degree from the National Taiwan University of Art, and her short fiction and documentary films have been shown at festivals around the world. Her current documentary project, delayed due to Covid-19, looks at a group of rural residents in Japan who have banded together to protect an old train station.
Her movie "Yilan, a Taste of Home" was selected for screening at Foça Film Days 2021.
