Hande Yelke (b. 1966) studied photography and camerawork at Anatolia University AÖF and has participated in various workshops on cinema. A member of the Union of Documentary Filmmakers (BSB), Ateş ve Su (Fire and Water) is her first documentary short. The film has been screened at a number of prestigious international film festivals in Turkey, including the International Labor Film Festival and the Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival.

"Fire and Water" was selected for screening at Foça Film Days 2021.
