Dorothy Eady (1904-1981) was a British-born Egyptian archaeologist and noted expert on the civilization of Pharaonic Egypt. As a draftswoman and the first female employee of the Egyptian Antiquities department, she was dedicated to preserving Egypt’s heritage, notably in Abydos, her spiritual home. But Eady was more than a pioneering scholar; she was also - or so she believed - the reincarnation of an ancient Egyptian temple priestess from the 19th dynasty, Omm Sety. Basma Magdy Ismail’s short documentary uses re-enactments at the archaeological site to introduce us to the Temple of Seti I in Abydos and the bizarre story associated with it.
