Anya Raza is a Pakistani-Dutch writer, filmmaker and economist who divides her time between Washington D.C. and Islamabad. Her work focuses on quieter voices, supporting humanitarian causes, the quest for economic empowerment, equal rights and freedom of expression.

Her directorial debut (co-directed with Aisha Linnea Akhtar) "How She Moves" is selected for screening in Foça Film Days 2021.
