After a visit to their local archaeological site and History Museum, children in Marseilles, France attempt to recreate the daily life of Oppidum's former inhabitants. Silos and underground rooms from ancient times emerge as important elements bearing traces of the past. Solid sets and terraces on the hills provided solutions for the ancient town in terms of both defense and social life. This process of discovery provides a fascinating experience not only for the students, but for all history enthusiasts and contributes to an understanding of how humans live together with nature.
