Glasgow born director Linda McDonald Cairns, explores unique stories and portrays the underrepresented characters that inhabit our world. For Reflections of a Syrian Artist, serendipity brought this Scottish filmmaker together with Syrian-based artist Nouman Issa. Utilising social media they make a documentary, which gives Issa a small voice in which he reflects upon the profound impact the war has had on his art and his country.
