Hussein Al-Asadi (b. 1997, Iraq) is an emerging filmmaker and director of photography based in Basra, Iraq. He has written and directed a number of short films, including his debut film, Eye of the Mountain (2019).

His film "She Was Not Alone" was selected for screening at Foça Film Days 2021.
