In the midst of professional careers, Rena Danilouli, a maths teacher, and Katerina Karpouzi, a lawyer, began studying film at the Department of Film Studies of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Danilouli has written and directed several short fiction and documentary films, some of which have been screened at international festivals. Karpouzi has worked in various roles from director to assistant cameraperson on many independent short films, including some award-winning productions.

Their film "Speechless Memory" was selected for screening at Foça Film Days 2021.
