During a visit to Afghanistan to teach ancient Greek theatre at a performing arts school in Kabul, director Anneta Papathanassiou recorded the lives of the young Afhan women artists she met there. Playing with Fire introduces us to young women who have met with harsh criticism, societal disapproval, and even death threats aginst them and their families - all because of their desire to express themselves through Art.
