With the support of the U.S. Mission in Ankara and IFTYD, Foça Film Days is offering women living in Greece, Turkey and Cyprus the opportunity to attend virtual Master Classes in Producing for Documentary Film with some of the best women working and teaching in the United States: Cynthia Kane and Anjanette Levert. The classes will be conducted (in English) over four Thursday evenings in March. Following the classes, a network will be established to allow participants to continue to interact virtually and provide each other with mutual support. Moreover, Foça Film Days will offer support to women in the network who are interested in filming in Foça-Izmir and the surrounding region. Participation is limited. Preferences will be given to university graduates who have previous experience producing/directing documentary films; however, undergraduate students in their final year of university may also apply.
