Laura García Andreu is an award-winning filmmaker and anthropologist. She has had several roles in the media industry, including production assistant and editor for the European Commission and working as a scriptwriter for cultural television programs. Her first documentary, ‘[m]otherhood’, was broadcasted on various TV channels around the world and shown at international film festivals, winning awards for Best Documentary Short Film Award at the Valencian Cinema Academy Awards (2019) and Best Screenplay Award at La Cabina International Film Festival (2018). 'Domingo Domingo' had its world premiere at the Thessaloniki Film Festival in 2023, after winning the best documentary project award at the San Sebastian International Film Festival (SSIFF) in 2021.
