Between 9-13 October, Foça Film Days 2024 will screen 30 short and feature documentary films centered around the theme ‘People (Who) Preserve Culture’. The festival offers visitors the opportunity to watch award-winning documentaries, meet their directors, and take part in free workshops while enjoying the historic atmosphere of a modern fishing village built atop an ancient Ionian city. Film screenings and all other activities are free and open to the public.

Foça Film Days is an international festival established in 2018 by a group of Foça residents interested in promoting heritage conservation, encouraging its documentation and dissemination through film, and strengthening inter-cultural understanding and appreciation for diversity.
