In coastal towns, the sea is one of the most important, if not the most important, sources of livelihood. Even for those who don’t earn their living from the sea, town residents can’t help but maintain a relationship with it. For some residents, however, the relationship with the sea has a particular importance. Whether it is as a source of income or a hobby, the sea is their passion and their source of life. “It’s Just Sea” presents the sea and marine life through the eyes of two different fishermen and two different divers in Sinop, a city on the Black Sea coast in western Turkey. We may all love the sea and the marine life it holds, but how much do we really know about them?
